North Berwick is a fine example of true links with scenic views over the Forth estuary. Several holes come to mind at North Berwick but two, in particular, the 13th and 16th. At the 365-yard par 4 13th the approach shot to the green is almost blind as the green is closely tucked behind a wall. The sixteenth has a drive over a ditch and an unusually shaped green in the form of two plateaux separated by a huge gulley running through the centre.
